What is the WhatsApp AI Bot?

Staff were spending real time answering the same customer question over and over: what is the status of my job? This assistant lives on WhatsApp, reads the customer's message, works out what they are asking, pulls the live answer from SimPro and replies instantly, around the clock. It removes the manual lookup entirely and improves transparency in job tracking.

How it works

From a WhatsApp message to a live answer.

The bot uses the WhatsApp webhook to receive client messages, identifies what is being asked, then pulls the matching data from SimPro and replies in real time.

Receive the message

The bot uses the WhatsApp webhook to receive client messages the moment they are sent, with no one in the office having to be online to catch them.

Work out the intent

AI processes the messages to identify intent, such as "Job Update" or "Site Information", so it knows exactly what the customer needs before it looks anything up.

Fetch the live data

Based on the intent, the bot interacts with the SimPro API to fetch the relevant data, so every answer reflects the real state of the job, not a stale copy.

Reply in real time

The bot replies to the client in real time. This automation saves time for both employees and clients and increases transparency in job tracking.
